Wim Kuijken and Henk Ovink open the Katshoek Rain(a)way Garden

By placing the last tile Wim Kuijken (National Delta Commissioner) and Henk Ovink (National Water Envoy) officially opened the Katshoek Rain(a)way Garden. Our Rain(a)way Garden is the next step in climate proofing the ZoHo-district. The Japanese inspired Rain(a)way tile is designed by Fien Dekker. It collects water and makes it slowly drain into the ground. The 100 meter long and 4 meter wide raingarden is part of a strategy of depaving, in which an abundance of hard surfaces changes in more soft and green places. Florian guided all guests through ZoHo and updated them on the latest results. Check out the project here.
