A climate square for Ghent
Last Saturday the city of Ghent invited the local community of ‘Brugse Poort’ to come and discuss our first sketches for their square. The goal is to create a more attractive public place that is the heart of the city’s first climate adaptive neighbourhood.
It was an animated afternoon. Three different proposals were discussed with enthusiasm among the inhabitants that live around the square. The day provided our team (De Urbanisten and Bureau Omgeving) with the right input to elaborate the design for ‘Kettingplein’.
